Conditions to be Fulfilled for Membership

19. A person to be admitted as a Member of the Society shall fulfil the following conditions:
(a) He shall hold a minimum of 10 shares of Rs. 50/- each.
(b) He shall pay an entrance fee of Rs. 100/-.
(c) Neither he nor any member of his family shall own or hold any other flat, house or land in the area of operation of the Society.
(d) He shall submit a declaration that the flat shall be used for the purpose stated in the application.
(e) He shall submit proof of income, if required by the Committee.
(f) He shall submit the stamped agreement for sale of the flat executed with the Builder/Promoter/existing Member, as the case may be.
(g) He shall submit such other documents and affidavits as required by the Committee.
(h) He shall comply with such other conditions as may be prescribed under the Act, Rules or these bye-laws.
For Associate Members:
(i) An Associate Member shall fulfil all the above conditions applicable to him and shall also obtain and submit a no-objection in writing from the original Member.
For Corporate Bodies:
(j) A corporate body seeking Membership shall submit, in addition to the above, a copy of the resolution of its Board of Directors / Governing Body authorising its representative to apply for Membership and to act on its behalf in all matters relating to the Society.
