62. Subject to the provisions of Section 33(1) of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960, a former Member or the estate of a deceased Member shall be liable for the dues of the Society existing at the time of the cessation of Membership or death, as the case may be, and such liability shall continue for a period of two years from the date of cessation of Membership or death.
