Liability of Past Member and Estate of Deceased Member
The liability of a past Member for the debts of the Society as they stood on the date of cessation of his Membership shall continue for a period of two years from the date of such cessation.
The liability of the estate of a deceased Member for the debts of the Society as they stood on the date of his death shall continue for a period of two years from the date of his death and in accordance with section 33 of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960.
