47. (a) The Society shall have the right to inspect any flat at any reasonable time after giving prior notice to the Member occupying it, for the purpose of ascertaining whether any repairs are required or whether these bye-laws are being complied with. (b) The Secretary shall inspect the flat and submit a report to the Committee. (c) On receipt of such a report, the Committee may issue a notice to the Member requiring him to carry out specified repairs within a stated period. (d) If a Member refuses to allow inspection or fails to carry out the required repairs within the period specified in the notice, the Secretary or any person authorised by the Committee shall be entitled to enter the flat and carry out the necessary inspection or repairs, and the cost thereof shall be recoverable from the Member as arrears of Society dues.
