Structural Changes and Alterations

46. (a) No Member shall carry out any structural changes, additions or alterations to his flat or any part of the building, including walls, columns, beams, slabs or any load-bearing structure, without obtaining the prior written permission of the Committee.
(b) An application for such permission shall be submitted to the Secretary with full details of the proposed changes, along with a plan prepared by a licensed architect or engineer.
(c) No changes to the sanctioned plan of the building shall be carried out without prior approval of the competent authority as required under applicable law.
(d) The Member shall be responsible for all costs and consequences of such changes and shall indemnify the Society against any claims, damages or liabilities arising therefrom.
