Procedure for Disposal of Membership Application

21. The procedure for disposal of applications for Membership shall be as follows: (a) The Secretary shall, on receipt of a membership application, scrutinise it for completeness within 15 days and place it before the next meeting of the Committee. (b) The Committee shall consider the application and either admit the applicant to Membership or reject the application, within 3 months of receipt of the application. (c) If the application is rejected, the reasons for rejection shall be recorded in writing and communicated to the applicant within 15 days of the decision. (d) If no decision is taken by the Committee within 3 months of receipt of the application, the applicant shall be deemed to have been admitted to Membership of the Society.
