Cessation of Membership
A person shall cease to be a Member of the Society in the following circumstances:
(a) on resignation from Membership having been accepted by the Committee;
(b) on transfer of all his shares and interest in the capital / property of the Society;
(c) on his death;
(d) on his expulsion from the Membership of the Society;
(e) on being adjudged insolvent or otherwise disqualified under law from continuing as a Member;
(f) where his whereabouts are not known for a continuous period of seven years and no claim is made in respect of his shares and interest in the property / capital of the Society;
(g) on cessation of his right, title and interest in the property of the Society by legal attachment, sale or otherwise;
(h) on transfer being found void under the Act, Rules or these Bye-laws;
(i) on cancellation or termination of Membership under the Act, Rules or these Bye-laws.
The Committee shall take further action in the matter as required under the relevant provisions of these Bye-laws.
