Division of Society's Expenditure

67. The expenditure of the Society shall be apportioned among Members as follows: (a) Property tax — as demanded by the local authority in respect of each flat; (b) Water charges — in proportion to the number of water connection points in each flat; (c) Repairs and Maintenance Fund — at a minimum of 0.75% per annum of the cost of construction as certified by the Architect, apportioned equally or on the basis of carpet area as decided by the General Body; (d) Lift charges — equally among all Members using the lift; (e) Sinking Fund — as per the resolution of the General Body under bye-law No. 13(c); (f) Service charges — equally among all Members; (g) Parking charges — as fixed by the General Body; (h) Interest on arrears — at the rate specified in bye-law No. 71 on the dues of each defaulting Member; (i) Non-occupancy charges — as per bye-law No. 43(f); (j) Insurance premium — proportionately on the basis of carpet area of each flat.
