An A-class auditor may audit societies in classes A, B and C. Some named (non-housing) societies are reserved for A-1 auditors (Annexure ब items 1, 5, 6, 7, note on p.969) or B-1 auditors (class B items 1–2, note on p.969). None of these is a housing society.
