Registered Address of the Society

The registered address of the Society shall be as under: …………………………………………………………

(a) The registered address shall ordinarily be the location of the property of the Society, unless otherwise permitted by the Registrar for specific reasons.

(b) The Society shall maintain an official address for correspondence as may be decided by the Committee. The Society may also maintain an official email address and such digital communication platform as may be approved by the Committee. Any notice, communication or intimation issued through such approved mode shall be treated as valid service, subject to the provisions of the Act, the Rules and these Bye-laws.

(c) Any change in the registered address of the Society shall be intimated to the Registering Authority and all concerned authorities within thirty days from the date of such change.

(d) Any change in the registered address shall be effected only after following the procedure prescribed under the Rules.

(e) The Society shall exhibit at a prominent place at the main entrance of its building or premises a board displaying its name, registration number and registered address. The Society may also display contact details, office timings, emergency contact information and such digital reference, including QR code, as may be decided by the Committee.
