Objects of the Society
The objects of the Society shall be as under:—
(a) To obtain conveyance or deemed conveyance of the land and building in favour of the Society in accordance with the provisions of law.
(b) To manage, maintain, repair and replace the property of the Society, including the building or buildings, common areas and facilities, and to ensure proper upkeep and safety thereof.
(c) To raise funds for achieving the objects of the Society and to utilise the same in accordance with the provisions of the Act, the Rules and these bye-laws.
(d) To establish and maintain funds such as the Reserve Fund, Repairs and Maintenance Fund, Sinking Fund, Major Repairs Fund, and such other funds as may be required under the Act, the Rules and these bye-laws.
(e) To provide amenities and services to the Members and to regulate their use in accordance with the provisions of the Act, the Rules and these bye-laws.
(f) To frame and enforce regulations in respect of the use of flats, common areas and facilities, and to ensure peaceful and orderly occupation by the Members.
(g) To ensure compliance with the provisions of the Act, the Rules and these bye-laws by all Members, occupants and users of the Society premises.
(h) To undertake redevelopment / reconstruction of the property of the Society in accordance with the provisions of the Act, the Rules, Government directives and the resolutions of the General Body.
(i) To enter into contracts, agreements or arrangements with any person, authority or agency for carrying out the objects of the Society.
(j) To take such measures as may be necessary for the welfare, convenience and safety of the Members and for the efficient functioning of the Society.
(k) To promote co-operative principles, awareness & training among the members, and to organise and encourage social and cultural welfare activities.
(l) To do all such other acts and things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objects.
