Record of Cessation of Membership
(a) The Committee shall record the cessation of Membership of a Member in the minutes of the meeting in which such cessation is taken on record.
(b) The Secretary shall, within 7 days from the date of such decision—
(i) communicate the cessation of Membership in writing to the Member concerned or to his legal heir or representative, as the case may be; and
(ii) update all relevant records of the Society, including the register of Members, share register and other statutory records.
(c) Where cessation is on account of death, transfer or expulsion, the Secretary shall also initiate consequential action under the relevant Bye-laws.
