Conditions for Admission as Member
No person shall be admitted as a Member, other than an Associate Member or Provisional Member, of the Society unless—
(a) (i) an application for membership is made in writing in the prescribed form provided under these Bye-laws;
(b) (ii) the applicant subscribes to ten fully paid-up shares of the Society of the face value of ₹50/- each aggregating to ₹500/-, or such share capital as may be prescribed under the Act, the Rules or these Bye-laws, and pays the entrance fee of ₹500/-, as prescribed under these Bye-laws;
(c) (iii) the applicant submits a certified copy of a duly stamped and registered Agreement for Sale, Conveyance Deed, Assignment Deed, Gift Deed, Exchange Deed, Partition Deed, Release or Relinquishment Deed, Family Arrangement, Probate, Letters of Administration, Succession Certificate, Court Decree, Sale Certificate or any other document recognised under law, establishing title or interest in the flat/unit;
(d) (iv) the application is approved by the Committee in accordance with the provisions of the Act, the Rules and these Bye-laws;
(e) (v) the applicant complies with the provisions of the Act, the Rules, these Bye-laws and Government directions issued from time to time;
(f) (vi) where the applicant is a body or entity, the application is accompanied by a resolution authorising such body or entity to apply for membership of the Society;
(g) (vii) where prior approval or permission of the Government, Collector, MHADA, CIDCO, SRA, MMRDA or any other competent authority is required under any law, lease, grant or allotment, such approval or permission has been obtained before admission to membership;
(h) (viii) such other conditions, as may be prescribed under the Act, the Rules and these Bye-laws, are fulfilled.
