70. A Member who fails to pay the charges specified in the demand notice within the period mentioned therein shall be deemed to be a defaulter. The Committee shall initiate recovery proceedings against such defaulting Member under Section 91 or Section 101 of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960, as applicable.
