Election of Office Bearers
(a) Every Committee, at its first meeting held under Bye-law No. 112, shall elect from amongst its Members a Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer, in accordance with the provisions of the Election Rules framed under the Act.
(b) The office bearers so elected shall hold office for a period co-terminus with the term of the Committee, subject to the provisions of the Act, Rules and these Bye-laws.
(c) An office bearer shall cease to hold office if:
(i) he / she ceases to be a Member of the Committee; or
(ii) a motion of no-confidence is passed against him / her. Provided that such motion shall be moved in a meeting called and presided over by the Registrar or an officer authorised by him, upon a requisition made by not less than one-third of the Members of the Committee, and shall be passed by a majority of not less than two-thirds of the Members present and entitled to vote. Provided further that no such motion shall be brought within a period of six months from the date of the previous motion.
